Nebraska gives Scott Frost much deserved extension to only fire him.

Nebraska leaving the big 12, all of its rivalry games, it’s recruiting base has to be the dumbest move in college football history. They are horrible right now

Nebraska’s running out of feet to shoot. I don’t know where they keep finding them, but that program has just been in a state of misery for the past two decades. I don’t know how they keep amping up these kinds of expectations year after year, but the 90s ain’t coming back.

Until the fans who were paying attention in the 90’s die off, Nebraska will suck it up and muddle along. Tom Osborn is “God” to them & the good Doctor took his ball and left to show the Big 12 who was in charge. He didn’t realize that Michigan, Ohio State, Texas & Oklahoma were never giving up there power ($$$$$). Anything is possible on a short term basis but Nebraska will never win NC’s in a decade like they did in the 90’s. Nebraska fans are amazingly loyal thou & still show up which is worth something.

NC? Conference west championship is even a stretch. Nebraska should just strive for a winning season. Recruiting will only get harder for the not so big red.

Absolutely correct. They did alright early on in the B1G with their Big 12 players, downhill after that.

Let them rot.
Has nothing to do with the conference. Good coaches win, bad coaches lose.

Pelini won in both conferences all the same. Callahan wasn’t very good in the Big 12 and Frost loses in the big 10 because they aren’t that good of coaches.

We know now that it's much easier to win with local players at UCF, than it is to win at Nebraska in the big ten.

It's not like it took Frost a long time to win at UCF and it's not like they got way worse when he left.

What a day for anyone that grew up in the western half of Iowa. Cyclones are COMPLETELY DOMINATE and set up well for a conference title appearance. With that dominance the Cyclones covered the point spread by 33 points. Illinois covered by 34!
