Nebraska fans have been holding their stupid red balloons waiting for this and now they can finally let them go.
Yes, I bet one month after the extension, they'll fire him.

When your coach beats power houses like South Alabama, Northern Illinois, Illinois, and Northwestern all in one season, you give him the keys to the whole damn house.
I know they have their sights set on a big name hire, but Florida State should reach out to Frost in my opinion.
They probably almost have to for recruiting purposes. Nobody is going to play for a lame duck coach.
I actually kind of like this move if you still think he’s your guy. They’ve built quite the reputation for firing guys fast, or when they’ve been successful. They need to let recruits know they’re still behind him.

Nebraska football has never been the same since Lee Child's Jack Reacher novel "Worth Dying For" absolutely destroyed them. Just visualize Jack Reacher making pudgy ex-cornhuskers' knees bend the opposite way our Creator designed them to and you'll get the image. He's not a fan.
After watching two plays, I would bet 50 - 3 Wisconsin. I wish it could be a shutout, but Nebraska will try really hard against Wisconsin's third string just like Mason Rudolph did.
