The logic that you asshats try to bring to the table is hilarious. Article written about NDSU, NDSU gets the most votes in said article, NDSU is the greatest dynasty ever!!!! Do you guys really think Alabama, OU, Nebraska, or USC fans are really going to go read an article about a lower division dynasty?

Since you obviously didn't want people to see the headline here it is:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...college-football-dynasty-youve-never-heard-of

Most important words are "you've never heard of" because nobody cares about NDSU football.
Nobody cares about ISU football either..........unless you are talking about bottom ten Power 5 conference teams. How proud Cyclone fans must be........to make a thread here about how bad your own team is and then belittle a team like NDSU that has a winning tradition. Guess ISU fans are too used to losing. Maybe you could learn a bit from reading that dynasty article in bleacher report. NDSU was a doormat for many years up until 1962. Then things changed and it wasn't just the coaches that made a difference........the community, alumni and fans expected more and did something about it.

By comparison that makes Iowa State football an FBS doormat.........and FCS teams like NDSU can stomp on the Cyclones too.

More biso logic, who started the thread? And the fact that it is a bleacher report article makes this even funnier.

Move on up to FBS and lets see if you keep that winning tradition. The answer is you wouldn't.

1-0 *********. Go back to the little kids table, actually after the power 5 break away, you're more or less eating in the cellar.

Yeah yeah, ISU had to deal with having too many blue bloods who had their number on the schedule over the years. Big 8 and Big 12 probably have had the hardest schedules overall last handful of decades.

In a small state the Cyclones draw NBA and NFL sized crowds and fill large venues regularly. It might not happen under Rhoads but the football program will be a consistant 7-8 win squad and BB will make the sweet 16 most years. ISU also has top 5 game day experiences for both hoops and football in the country. NDSU just lost their coach to the worst MWC program and a harder school to recruit to than Air Force. NDSU is also too cowardly to step up and join the Sun Belt and try their luck competing with the likes of New Mex St and Idaho. Even UMASS or Old Dominion or Charlotte had the balls to go 1A I'd really like to hear an explanation for why the Bison can't do the same?

How many FBS football teams would travel to Fargo and play a game in an indoor arena that hold under 20,000 spectators. The answer is none..........

Enjoy being a FCS dynasty.

Congrats for sinking to your buddy LBs status as a moron division 2 chest-beater. And who was the last FBS team you stomped?

Come on, there is no reason to fight stupid with stupid.

There is so much fail in this single paragraph.

NDSU even refuses to play their in-state rival; big brother UND down the Red. You bison make a big deal out of beating FBS teams, so why do you dodge the only other major school in North Dakota? What's with that Lakes?

I have been a Cyclone fan for over 45 years. I always go into each football and basketball season with optimism. That is part of being a Cyclone fan. However, in football I consider a good season to be 7 wins and would be thrilled with 8. I can live with a 500 season if we hit 7/8 once in awhile. Cyclone fans are patient to a fault. I believe in CPR but to win 7-8 consistently is insanely tough with our schedule and location.
In basketball, Fred has given everyone a reason to have faith, but Johnny, Tim, Larry all had ups and downs in their tenure. To expect sweet 16 every year is tough, hope it is true obviously. ISU, as do most non bluebloods need some great coaching, players, and even some luck to reach the sweet 16 most years.
Cyclone fans love the gameday experiences around Ames, because" we love the Cyclones". Other venues are also lots of fun, Wisconsin for example can be lots of fun on gameday.
I love your optimism, and I mean that sincerely!
