Jones was better overall, but Gordon was robbed at the end
The way dunk contest voting is determined is worse than the caucuses.
All the dunks:
Those remind me of all the things I couldn't even do on a 7 foot rim about 20-25 years ago when I was in my jumping 'prime'.
Shouldn't have non basketball people as judges. What the hell do Common and Bozeman know? And you have a ex Miami guy in Wade judging a guy that plays for Miami?
3 point contest >>> dunk contest
Bozeman didn't even look like he was having any fun. Looked like his dog just died most of the time. That dunk contest was awesome.
He could be on college gameday in Ames
Thought I'd check out the All-Star game since the channel guide said it's on...when does it start?
Sad they didn't get Fergie to do the anthem again
That was the worst national anthem I’ve ever heard.
I dream of a day when singers just sing the National Anthem rather than trying to put they're own spin on it.
Roseanne Barr disagrees.
So, as someone that’s not a diehard fan, is this all star game supposed to be enjoyable?
I'm a casual NBA fan; not die hard, but enjoy watching games on the weekend. For me, its fun to watch just to see the best players in the game out there having fun. If you're not into the NBA much, then probably not worth your time.
Not sure about the set up this year, but the 4th quarter is usually interesting. Game has been boring so far.
I try and try with the NBA and just can't get there.
Was different when I was a kid including the All Star game.
I think I could score in this game.
It’s just a real struggle watching absolutely nothing in defense in effort and only threes and alley oop attempts on offense.
Yeah, it definitely lacks the intensity a regular season game would have. I do like the format this year though; keeping track of a score every quarter, and that teams charity getting money if they win that quarter.
