Jefferson, Jones, Lipsey and Momcilovic are gonna carry the bulk of the load most nights, with one of generally getting hot. If the combination of Heise and Jackson can give us 15-20 points a game, we're gonna be really tough to beat. Then if Chatfield contributes 4-8, that's the cherry on top.

Just eyeballing recent game lines, it looks to me like Keshon is slumping and needs to figure something out. Points scored is trending downward and he has an absurd 20 turnovers by himself in the last 4 games. He needs to be there to help handle the load of those top 4 guys. Frankly, he doesn't need to score that much, but he's got to start taking better care of the ball again at minimum.

His assists numbers haven't been that bad lately, and I get that he handles the ball a lot. It still has to improve. It looks like we only have 2 games this month where we had fewer turnovers than the opponent, and he's been a major part of those numbers. He appears to have more than 80 turnovers on the season...the next nearest teammate has 50.

Admittedly there isn't a guy on the team who has a crazy AST/TOV ratio so it's not just Keshon, but he seems to be the biggest offender lately.

Seems like Keshon and Curtis are playing more point than Tamin (I could be wrong there, but that's my general impression), perhaps to keep more tread on Tamin's tires. When you look at the numbers, Lipsey's assist numbers are down significantly from the previous two years (2.8 per game vs 4.4/4.9).

If that's the case, I wonder if we don't switch that up some in the postseason to give Keshon more opportunities to score while putting a more solid playmaker at the point?

I think TLs thumb injury is bothering his ability to dribble more than any other part of his game.

That's what I've been wondering myself. Unfortunately, I think those two running ball so much may be negatively impacting their other skills a bit. Hopefully we ride it out long enough to get back to norm. Schedule did us some favors giving this us relatively-easy stretch to get through February.

Specifically for Keshon, he's gotta do something about his drive attempts. He doesn't get hardly any calls anymore -- so he better have backup plans instead of throwing up wild shots over and over, or find different shots to take instead. I'll take any missed shot over any turnover.

To start, this isn't directed at you. Just responding to add my $.02.

I suspect Keshon has been asked to take some of the PG load from Lipsey. Having to facilitate puts more pressure on him and doesn't allow him to play as freely as he did as an off guard. I just don't think it's his natural position.

He's at his best when he's playing downhill, however running the point for our offense has different demands. I see comments about wondering why he doesn't drive as much, why he turns it over, why he doesn't hunt his shot, etc, etc. I wish people would realize he's not in his normal role as much and he's still contributing in other ways. He's not going to run the point like Lipsey and still be the "shooting guard Keshon" that we're used to.

The dude is a competitor and gives it all for this team. I doubt anyone's criticism of his play comes close to matching his own.

I think being off the ball more would free him up for a lot of different angles of attack. I'm guessing every bit of help is going to defend him in the pick and roll out top. Much harder to defend him when he could be coming from any angle with screens away from the ball.

Per KG it feels like his 3 point attempts are down but it's not really much vs. last year.

It'd be nice if he knocks a couple of those down to help open things up.
