NASCAR Annouces New Title Sponsor

Monster Energy has been announced as the next title sponsor in NASCAR's premier series. Interesting move IMO, wonder if it will be the Monster Energy Cup Series or something else.

I don't watch Nascar, but I still call it the Winston cup.

They will try to make the name like the Xfinity series, where there is no "Cup" to shorten up the sponsor name. I think that would be a good idea. "NASCAR Monster Energy Series".

It will be a big change to the race weekend experience. Sprint didn't have a lot of noticeable/exciting displays. Monster has a lot to offer in that regard.

Shows how far NASCAR's Fallen to lose a telecom sponsor. Of course Sprint's upper echelon we're never thrilled with having NASCAR's part of the Nextel deal they were much more into the IRL.
