Ok.. so it is clear this team just does NOT have the horses to make a run to the post season. I'm going to view this as I did the football season.

I will..

Go to every game hoping that others do the same to keep the Hilton atmosphere a solid one. I can't imagine letting football and basketball recruits attend an atmosphere like Carver Crapeye Arena.

Refuse to go off the deep end when we lose to teams we shouldn't and get blown out.

Enjoy any sick plays we can create. (Brackins dunks, Wesley 3s, Rahshon putbacks, Diante crossover)

Cheer loud for hard effort

Not leave a close game so I can save 2-4 minutes on my drive home.

It is a rebuilding process and it isn't fair to get on Coach Mac for not succeeding immediately. It is easy to root for solid guys as we have on our team. You HAVE to have BIG 12 CALIBER players, which right now we only have 3-4. There is no way around it... We have walk-ons playing a LOT of minutes.

This is not how coach Mac visioned this team panning out. Assumed players as of last July (in my opinion with Big 12 talent)..

Mike T
Lucca
Wes
Jiri
Rahshon
Brackins
Diante

Other roll players
Thompson
CJ
Haluska
Brister

Scrub time players
Peterson
Brick Jacobson
Currie

Redshirt
Vette
Boozer

5 of the top players IMO have either been hurt or are no longer with the team. Brister quit. The other 2 top players are true freshman.

You can begin to see why this team is strugging. It isnt because of X and Os coaching. To me it is clearly a lack of talent.

Had we not lost Taylor and Lucca we would've atleast been competitive this season. So I definitely agree there. We wouldn't have been "good" but that's atleast a 15-16 win team. It's obvious we have hit rock bottom so I don't quite understand why we let Peterson play 30 mins a game. Let the young guys get out there and make mistakes when the results don't matter as much. Let Diante, Boozer, etc. get big minutes, who cares. They're the future.

Exactly. Most people here predicted 15-16 wins with this team before the devastation started with MT, Lucca, Wes, Jiri, etc. Now we are surprised that the outlook is more like 10-12 wins?
