If the anti-mask crowd gets the blame for canceling college football let’s give them the credit for saving the NFL.I'll pour one out for those sports but i think you should be pointing the finger at the people who haven't spent the past 5 months alone and wearing masks.
WutIf the anti-mask crowd gets the blame for canceling college football let’s give them the credit for saving the NFL.
I just hope that all the people pounding their chest this weekend about being right are able to support CycloneFanatic in the lean months ahead.
You're going to need to explain that logic to me.If the anti-mask crowd gets the blame for canceling college football let’s give them the credit for saving the NFL.
he was calling people racists in the CFB thread. I hope he was drinking cuz yikes.
I don’t see how this is logical in August, no.Basketball starts in January with conference play, conference-only football in March. Seniors graduate. Athletic departments get their necessary cash flow. Everything back to normal next fall. Not easy but so logical, isn't it.

If college football can't take one lost season, financially, then the system needs to be nuked.
But if they bubble the players and keep them out of classes while regular students continue to attend, they risk athletes looking more and more like employees who should be paid. They just can't wrap their heads around losing all those $$$$.
They only make that revenue with 98,000 in the stands, which isn't happening.I'm not sure what ISU's football revenue is but Scott Frost said yesterday that Nebraska's was $100 million-plus. That's why Nebraska coming back for this fall makes some sense as well. Most of these athletic departments don't have a stockpile of cash or stockholder equity to leverage the business without football.
I can explain it very succinctly. An idiot with access to the internet and a device posted a graph.
