Wow, your reaching here. Their best players match against our best players. Other teams have beaten us with inside play this year. How many have out-Guarded us? We are far more likely to finish 2-1, and your prediction will fall flat. Forte looks like he would be a better fit for the wrestling team, and he has never been that scary versus ISU.
Forte never scary versus ISU? You can't be serious.

Forte had the game of his life earlier this season, at home, and ISU won, without any post presence. I understand Forte can have a big game, but it is reminiscent of Tyrae Pearson his senior year. Get 20 and 10, rest of the team does nothing, lose game. Team sports work like that.

This Baylor game is so huge. If we can somehow knock them off and we'd end in a 3-rd place tie, we'd win the tiebreaker for the third seed. (I still have WV finishing 2nd if we beat Baylor). Nice to know we're assured of 10-8, but sure would be sweet to get this one. If nothing else, to break this losing streak to the Bears. Grrrrr

No kidding. I thought 10-8 was maybe the ceiling but now even 12-6 is a possibility.

I'm doing my best not to get greedy and just appreciate how they're more or less a lock for the tourney.

I believe we'll win the home games.
@ West Virginia gives me no confidence, but it's theoretically possible.

I'm on the same page. As dreadful as ISU looked at home vs. WVa in the first matchup, I feel more confident in stealing one in Morgantown, seems like Iowa State is trending up, and WVU trending downward. (I also think Baylor/Iowa State comparison is much closer to the middle than it was when we went to Waco).

This is where I am at. I just want to focus on Baylor right now especially after game 1 in Waco. Beating Baylor will give ISU another win over a top 10 team in the eyes of the committee and fair or not will be a bigger line tie break when the tourney seeds are announce. OSU will be just as quality of a win in our eyes and in the standings.
Let's just protect Hilton and get both W's.

OSU is historically a tough game for this group but they have proven up to the task even in the close ones. I'll reserve my exact thoughts on OSU/Forte until Sunday, but happy he'll be graduating next year. I am also sure Cowboy fan's will be happy not to see Naz again probably more so.

Looking at the last 6 games it becomes really apparent how much the Texas loss hurt. While there are some opportunities in the last 6 regular season games, there is not one that I would feel overly confident about.

Here is how I would rank the likelihood of a win in the six remaining games with the most likely listed first.

TCU
@KSU
@TTU
OSU
Baylor
@WVU

I'll put the O/U for wins in last 6 games at 3.5.

Share your projections!

When I first saw this weeks ago, I would have taken the under. Now, give me the over, WAY OVER!

What an awesome finish to the season we've been having. Hope I'm not jinxing it, but I think we get to 5 out of 6! I think our NCAA seed range is 5,6 or 7 depending on other results and our Big XII Tourney play if we win 5 out of 6 and get to 12 and 6 in conference. That's an outstanding conference record!

Kool Aid! Hope we get hot in the Tourney.

No doubt! Naz has just ripped out there hearts with some huge shots against the Cowpokes. Hope he does it again.

If ISU and OSU win on Saturday, it's likely to be a Top 25 matchup in Hilton on Tuesday.

If we can win the next two at home AND TCU can knock off WVU this Saturday, we have 2nd or 3rd wrapped up before we play WVU. If Baylor beats WVU next week, we have 2nd, if WVU beats Baylor we wrap up 3rd. Cheer like heck for the Frogs, that would help us tremendously.

True, but I also think Evans is underrated. I hope he leaves early.

I believe he would have last year before his injury especially with Ford getting fired. The issue this year the draft is stocked full of PG including 4 projected in the top 10. I doubt he'll be a lottery pick unless something changes and with Monte and Mason taking most the B12 point accolades I could see Evans staying and improving his shooting and bulk in prep for his junior year.
