I think with the balance of the league, it would be hard for any team to get two players on the first team. I don't think the coaches will do that.

No, but the coaches probably will.

So you guys would give 1st team to an inferior player for the sake of balance?

No, but my guess is the coaches would. I think Niang and Morris SHOULD be 1st team, but I would be surprised if Morris actually makes it based on past voting.

Pretty sad we have 2 first team all Big 12 caliber players and we managed to finish 6th in conference. *Waits for someone to say expectations were unrealistic*

Meh, three overtimes and four other very close games where we just didn't close. Missing a major component (Naz) and missed another one for three games (McKay). A couple shots here and there and we were competing with KU for the title.

Expectations WERE unrealistic after we lost Naz, especially since Mckay regressed.

Well, the league is a ***** and we have some weaknesses. A lot of teams have 2 "candidates" for 1st team, actually.

They will probably give it to Taylor just to avoid 2 guys from the same team on 1st team. It wont make any sense but Taylor will get it over Monte I can almost bet my savings on it.

And no depth since the prior coach checked out and didn't recruit. If Diallo was on our team and Naz was healthy we win the conference.

6th is hard to swallow, yet we also don't have two 5-star kids sitting waiting patiently on our bench because we have so much talent and experienced depth already playing 8 deep like KU.

I'm going to take the bait and say I am really sick of reading this everywhere I go on this site. If the coach wasn't recruiting then Diallo wouldn't have had ISU as one of his final choices. He only went to KU after Fred couldn't promise him he wasn't going to be leaving.

People need to fricken let it go.

We have let it go but it doesn't change the fact. We lost players to graduation/eligibility/transfer and they weren't replaced. I guess Carter for the Greek was a replacement -- but that's it.
