You have to be the biggest idiot on the planet if you think ISU doesn't have its fair share of embarrassments.

-Steven Leath using a university plane for his personal use
-Bubu Palo
-The drunkard known as Larry Eustachy hitting on co eds
-Jason Berrymen robbing people
-Jamie Pollard and Rhoads taking a podium and making an ass of themselves accusing the Big12 of being out to get them.
-Rhoads taking the podium making as ass out of himself shouting about other schools actually having the nerve to try and recruit a player.
-ISU selling season tickets cheaper than high school games at $99.
This is easy I could go on and on.
And every Hawk fan hopes Pollard stays at ISU forever. Least winning P5 football team since he took over as AD. Yikes!

How much of that is illegal, and I believe everything I posted about Iowa was during Barta's tenure. Jamie wasn't here for crap like Sam Mack. Leath knew he had to leave (he personally repaid the plane costs too), Bubu wasn't' found guilty, Larry was fired, Berryman was dismissed.

So many minor sports suck at Iowa, even with huge budgets and great facilities. That means Barta can't hire the right coaches - can't manage personnel - which is an AD's most important job.

Thanks for proving my point. Those posts are from 2014 and 2016. No posts at all during the trial until the guilty verdict is handed down then comes the faux outrage.

I care about all games, not just one Super Bowl. While it is embarrassing to lose to NDSU and ISU, overall the Iowa program has been a top 20 P5 program over the last 15 years. So yeah, I'll take that.

If that's the case students shouldn't need to be bribed by free tuition and ice cream and bobble heads to get to either of those sports, within the last what, 5 years?
Also, Barta did hire a good baseball coach and now some fans make it look like they have cared forever about baseball.

ISU bribed people for $99 season tickets when they're a $400 value for years and years. They still sell a $400 season ticket for $175. I mean talk about giving away the farm for ***** sake.
