More Big 12 schools looking at beer sales for football games

    From what I've heard, Jamie is opposed to the idea. If it can make you money, I don't know why you wouldn't do it. It's a better look than people slamming 4 or 5 beers during halftime and having the stadium half empty for 2nd half kickoff.

    I really believed we were going to make it through the offseason without broaching the "to sell or not to sell" beer topic, and the inevitable segue discussion of the stadium's re-entry policy.

    i truly thought we'd made it. Silly rabbit...

    I don't know why we can't sell AND let people out. Everyone knows tailgating IS Iowa State. But if selling beer keeps the stands more full for 2nd half kickoff why not?

    Why not allow people to buy beer and stop selling it at the end of the 3rd quarter? It'd have to be draft only as solo cups are harder to throw at people than cans.
