Monte is the best. He maybe doesn’t get the same type of love that Georges and naz get because they are also the best but in so many ways Monte is exactly what you want a cyclone to be. He didn’t pout when they brought Kane in here his freshman year and he just went out and worked hard. He did the same for Hong last year in the g league.

Monte made it look easy last night too. His biggest knock would be that he had a few shots that he should have taken, but passed up. He scored 4 points in the final minute of a tight game, including jumping a passing lane to steal and score to seal it.

Monte with a quick seven to start the Nuggets' scoring tonight.
Finished with 21 points, 7 assists in a loss.

This guy predicts Morris will make the Nuggets' roster: https://www.denverstiffs.com/platfo...olidify-morris-cancar-jokic-barton-vanderbilt

Unfortunately, they're going to have to make some roster moves if they want to open up a spot for him:

the nba is just so brutally tough. monte worked all summer, every day with nuggets coaches, kills it in his summer league games...and the nuggets give $4m to a 2nd rd pick for the last roster spot.

hope there's a better outcome for monte, but that's got to be so tough to deal with....let's hope these "expected" roster moves play out in his favor!

They still need a backup PG. I'm guessing the signing of Vanderbilt means they'll move someone to make room for that backup spot

as I was saying...just a brutal league to break into. looks like another year in rio grande for 50k for monte, that's going to be tough....
