Chris, do you have any idea what ISU's Tier3 revenue is coming from basketball and football revenue not tied to conference contracts? And I doubt WVU or OU get more than $3.5 million for theirs.

Is it just me, or does Shayok also have freakishly long arms for a guy his height?

Never noticed it until that picture on this article...

Iowa State's generally is about 1 million. Comes more from sponsorships than the actual deal with Mediacom. Pretty sure WVU and OU get 4-5 ish.

I know these schools have fairly large deals with IMG or Learfield. But I don't believe much of that revenue comes from TV of MBB and football, which is what Tier3 revenue means.

Plus as far as conference revenue goes, shouldn't we get a bump from getting the Sugar Bowl back away from the CFB? Should be a pretty big year.

I just don't quite buy that low number. What about all of the direct revenue from subs? I mean $1,000,000 at the lowest yearly rate of ~$60 would only be ~17,000 subscribers. Are their numbers that terrible? Or are they subtracting the costs of production and giving profit numbers?

I also was slightly underwhelmed by that number. It seems like the only bump was from the conference championship game. Which means the regular number didn't escalate this year, or that perhaps its not level and increases in jumps after X years.

One of the below articles says his wingspan is 7'2", and is as "long as a telephone wire." Also reference to him being a lock down defender:

I knew he was a lockdown defender... just never noticed his wingspan before.

Gonna be insane having two guys on the floor that are 6'5" with 7'1"+ wingspans....

Chris,

I love small ball too, but the only way that works is to keep your one big out of foul trouble. With Solomon healthy and Jacobson available more regularly than Hans, we aren't in quite as deep of doggy doo that way. However, when playing small ball, unless we are able to stop all dribble penetration, your line-up seems to see Lard starting, then heading to the bench with two fouls two minutes into the game.

From the second link:

...The freshman class got fat all of a sudden, with the late addition and Hall's redshirt; there are now five each in the freshman and junior classes, which presents a recruiting challenge down the road. There are two 2014 players - Devonte Graham and Sviatoslav Mikhailiuk - that Tony is in hot pursuit of, not really caring that it'll create a six-man class again, but if neither goes with UVa then it leaves two spots in the 2015 class...

I'll bet Virginia fans hate Kansas too.
