Have any of the players that tested positive even been sick or are they all asymptomatic? If the players are all asymptomatic it seems shutting it down right now is a little premature. How are the European soccer leagues pulling this off?

Yes it does, because it's based on a study where they tested everybody, regardless of symptoms. Also, "mild" doesn't mean what you think it means. But carry on just making things up to reaffirm your existing beliefs.

If the players are asymp they can still spread it to others, and pretty soon the roster is depleted.

I haven't seen anything about Euro soccer players going out to bars so that probably helps them 'pull it off'.

There are still folks who believe:
1. If you don't feel symptoms, you don't have it.
2. If you don't feel symptoms, it can't be spread.

Two things - first, MLB did a terrible job planning their season schedule out and their plan to deal with COVID. Frankly, it’s almost as if they didn’t do any planning, and just hoped it would work out keeping the same general series structure as usual. It’s amazingly incompetent that they did not have better measures in place to deal with clubs with multiple cases.

Second - As we’ve learned all it takes is one player to be an idiot and go out to the club to infect a bunch of teammates and cause a major issue. They’ve gotta isolate strictly at home and on road trips and do it now, and effectively, if we are going to have a real chance at completing this season.

OK, 3 things - selfishly I really really want to have this season continue. Come on baseball, get it together! I’ve been loving having sports to watch and I really don’t have much hope for football season.

Well, the primary reason of course is that the outbreak is under control in Europe, while its a total **** show and spreading like wildfire here. They have done so much better at containing it since the initial outbreak - we have failed miserably. It all starts there.
