Good. Somehow the Big XII has managed to get rid of the fanbases leading the nation in douchbaggery.... the mason jar abusers from A&M, the worst fans in the nation from Nebraska, the redneck meth heads from Mizzou, and the hippies from Colorado.

In reality... the biggest winners in all of this are the schools remaining in the Big XII.

I think you're just getting started. Wait until the land thieves from OU, the fightin' Pickens' of OKSt., the lunatics at TTU, and the "Hook 'Em Satan" brigade from UT all leave in a few years.

THEN think of the winners left behind in the Big XII. Nothing but fine, upstanding college fans. Except for the whiners at KSU. And the wheat beaters from Kansas. And the holy-roller legal-eagles at Baylor.

Ah, that'll never happen. OU and UT value the relationship with the smaller members of the Big 12 too much.

Would Mizzou be the big winner by getting into the SEC? Only if they like finishing 6-6 or worse every single year.

For that reason I would love to see Mizzou jump ship. I have no respect for Mizzou as they have been looking to jump ship from this conference since the Big 8 days. I wish nothing but the worst for them and will enjoy it when they are finally gone.

I just want to know what the hold up is? Clearly the thought leaders of the Missouri fanbase view the move as a sound choice, why not pull the trigger? We have some quality programs interested in joining so c'mon Missouri, get the **** out.

Missouri has finally found a new dance partner. The problem is she has genital herpes, but they are so desperate to leave their current relationship, they will over look anything.

Wait a minute... I thought Missouri was in the Big Ten? I mean all the douches from Missouri ran around bragging how they were going to the Big Ten last year I just assumed it happened.

This tweet is from Gabe DeArmond, Rivals writer at the press conference now:

GabeDeArmond Gabe DeArmond
This feels like waiting for a blind date to arrive not knowing whether she looks like Miss America or a troll.
They'll come out and announce:

1. "Conditional withdrawal" from the Big 12 (my favorite birth control method)

2. "Proud members of the Big 12" (sparking a WVU-style riot)

3. Brady Deaton is taking his talents to South Beach

4. Nothing. Can't be heard over the sound of David Boren, giving another press conference in the same room.

Best case,

Deaton walks out, says they are staying. Then Neinas walks out, and announces the Louisville and WVU are joining as well.

Mizzou isn't leaving. If they were, they would already be gone.

I will be greatly disappointed if they don't leave now. Mizzou is the one school since the days of the Big 8 Conference that you can always put your finger on as a school that is always looking to cause instability.

Mizzou is too much like A&M. They cried about Texas having all of these unfair advantages with LHN (resolved), they cried about unequal revenue sharing (resolved), so now that there is nothing left to cry about they want to leave anyway? Pretty simple to see that they have had 1 foot out the door for years and just needed an excuse so they didn't look like a-holes. Hello Texas and LHN. The problem is... they still want out just like A&M. It was never about Texas or LHN or anything else for that matter. They wanted to leave all along.

The Big XII needs to take the stance of the B1G on this one.... sorry Mizzou... we don't want your sorry ***** either.

Moreover, why WOULD they leave? The SEC HAS no buyout for leaving. Nobody wants to. Why move to one "power" conference of nothing but top teams, and run the risk of losing your job every week with a loss? If that were to happen, we (fans of non-elite teams) would all be screwed. Nothing you can do about that.

Uhh, isn't that pretty much what Missouri is signing up for? Almost every year, the SEC is the premier conference in the land. Meanwhile, Missouri has the same number of Big XII titles as ISU, KU, BU, and Tech, which is to say, none. Missouri won the North, what, 2 times in 15 seasons? They had 5 winning conference records in 15 years in the Big XII.

Do you really think that's going to get better in the SEC?
