If Mike can knock him out he will. You put Mike in a ring and he is not a normal person. It all boils down to Mike being 58 years old.
As much as I hope you're right, I'm not buying it. I think this thing, while maybe not entirely choreographed, has a predetermined outcome that includes the fight going the distance and JP not being hurt.

Look at the Logan Paul v. Floyd Mayweather fight. No different. There's no way that little dork would actually go 8 full rounds with a fully determined Money Mayweather.

What a sad day for a once very proud sport. I know it’s not an official fight at all, but it’s sad that most people, myself included, have no clue who any boxer is anymore or when fights happen. Yet my social media is full of people asking which bars will have the fight, who's having a watch party, and debating a match between a YouTube jackass and a 60 year old former great as if it were Ali/Frasier.

I was never a boxing fan...but in my childhood I could name more than a handful of boxers (Sugar Ray, Hagler, Hearns, Holmes, Spinks jump to the front of my memory)...can't name a single active boxer at the moment!

They need to somehow unify all the leagues but I don't know enough to know if that's realistic. As a casual the problem seems to be that you can have two guys at top of the same weight, and they may never box against each other.

That fight was floyd messing around with Logan. Floyd did basically the same thing the first 8 round with Connor MCgregor and has done that with a few other people. I think if Jake thinks when Tyson get's in the ring Tyson won't try and rip his head off, he made a huge error in judgement. Not saying Mike will win but I just don't see Tyson agreeing to a nonsense type fight. He is a real fighter.

Heavyweight division has been a snoozefest for decades. There's still some really good boxing happening in the middleweight divisions though.

Tyson needs the money. He's going to do whatever he has to do to make as much cash as he can and that means going all 8 rounds and losing a split decision with the judges that Paul got to hand pick.

This whole thread made me go look up who the hell Jake Paul is.

If I remember I might flip it on at 10 just for the heck of it just to see Tyson but the whole thing sounds like WrestleMania with boxing gloves.

I don't think Mike needs the money. He has made a crap ton of money the last ten years with Weed products, and a bunch of other stuff they license his name to use. During the Roy Jones fight he said he didn't need the money and would do it for free just to get back in and have some fun. So I don't think Mike is doing a money grab on this.

Google search says his net worth has gone from $300M to $10M in the last decade. He needs the cash.

Yeah, I think he knows that his legacy is at stake here. Sure, no one expects him to win, but I think he'll take it personally, and he gets the money either way.

I feel like these big fights have been just major disappointments. I feel like they’re gonna dance around for 8 rounds and JP will win by decision. Tyson will be gassed after half a round

I actually thought the McGregor and Floyd fight was mildly entertaining. It was more competitive than I thought. McGregor landed some solid punches and I think around 10th most of all Mayweathers opponents. He didn't know the rules which killed him. He kept getting behind him to punch him which is illegal and by end of it he had nothing left. That was one of the better ones of these gimmick fights. I hope you're right about Tyson

Yeah that was an entertaining fight but I also knew Floyd was not going 100 percent and trying to wear him down. Hope Tyson destroys him, however, I think Paul beats him. Just based on watching Hollyfield did against Vitor Belfort. He just looked so old. Mike does look like he held together more than holyfield though
