I definitely think our society has coddled kids too much. This is big boy ball, and if they have attitude problems, nothing better than a good hard butt kicking to humble you.

Eh, I think this school of thought has been around for a long time. My great grandparents probably thought my parents were coddled too much, and my great-great-great grandparents probably thought my great grandparents were coddled too much.

Cronin is a great coach. He has a solid record in getting to the dance and getting out of the first round.

That said, that sort of public calling out of players only works if you know your team and what they respond to. A great coach knows that.
