Re: Not traveling to OSU??

Literally nobody said that. The point I've been making here is that "info" without sources is gossip, no matter who it comes from.
Since everyone immediately jumped to the McKay conclusion, all it does is spark yet another potential feeding frenzy of threads dumping on one of our guys. I've yet to see a single instance where this was good for anybody, which makes it funny when it turns out to be false.

Someone should notify the newspapers of this. :twitcy:

Probably has a big test on Monday that he has to stay back and study for. You know, student-athlete and all.

Coaching has a lot to do with relationships too. Care about the person first and foremost, then work on the athlete.

Person first, athlete second.

It also has to do with pushing player to be their best on and off the court. If any player isn't up for that then you have issues.

An example of this is how Roy Williams makes it a point to schedule a game in the home state of his blue chip recruits. Or, how Coach Campbell held family meals with position groups at Toledo. Hopefully, that continues. Then, look at Fred, helped support Royce, held community meeting with BDJ's neighbors.

Are you suggesting Prohm doesn't care about Jameel?

Nice. Really quick on your feet. I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue!

1. We don't know what Fred let Royce get away with while at ISU either.
2. Also, Fred moved BJD out of that building, as opposed to telling him "no more problems or else."
"Caring about the person first" doesn't mean coddling them.

First it was fan bullying. And I actually believed that might be true. Now it's coach's inability to put the person before the athlete?

God forbid he gets out into the real world and he gets a new boss or supervisor. You only get so many sick days.
