Very interesting to hear Campbell talk about his initial conversation with Manning about returning.
Now you went and did it. I'm all excited about Cyclone football in February. It's nice to have a lot of Cyclone sports this spring to be excited about where they are headed: WBB, MBB, FB, Wrestling, Gymnastics, etc.
It's definitely a different feeling. I think, since I've become a fan, I feel like most of the major ISU sports teams have taken turns hitting their stride, but as fun as it's been enjoying the men's and women's basketball seasons, national signing day just reminded me that there's more to look forward to again in August. Same goes for this past football season -- almost forgot there was a promising men's basketball season that was about to begin in the midst of the football team's success.
In summary; winning is fun. Lets enjoy it all while we can.
Spring football practice in March is going to compete seriously with our attention on end of season basketball.
Yes. 2000 was a heady year with MBB & WBB reg season and tourney champions, big dance success and ISU's first bowl game in forever. Everyone should enjoy every minute of this success because success can be fleeting.
