Sadly, until KU gets eliminated, I believe it's theirs to lose. They just handle the pressure better than other teams.

Down year or not, it's great that teams are going into AFH and knocking out a win or two. Once teams realize that they can be beat, we're liable to see a little more parity at the top. The streak is in everyone's heads right now.

I just find it odd, that you don't think Self is responsible for the players he puts on the floor. ISU is playing with 10 players right now, maximum. This is on Prohm and Fred. After next season, nobody can put any blame on Fred for anything. Self has been there more than five years, so any roster holes, recruiting misses, development problems are on him. If somebody leaves, that was a recruiting miss or development problem.

I don't understand how you say Self doesn't have responsibility with this. I give Prohm a partial rebuilding pass due to the roster when he showed up, but I do partially blame him since he had two years to bring in some Jucos or other recruits to soften the blow some.

There isnt going to be any multi year carryover from this. KU is right back to being dominant next year.
