Nebraska refusing to recruit their own grounds is gonna back fire and I’m here for it!
Not sure if it's they refused to recruit or they just aren't getting the in state recruits. My son in law is from NE and a huge Husker fan and he's always complaining about not being able to keep the good talent in the state. I haven't seen the list of schools recruiting this kid so maybe they didn't go after him but I don't think being a Husker is as big of a deal as it was 20 or 30 years ago.

I had seen some where a while back that Nebby was shifting away from in state recruits. If I recall correctly it had to do with a bunch of in state kids that have transferred out of the program the last couple years. Basically that Nebraska is trying to buy players instead of develop, which is a mistake IMO. Their home grown talent has been a huge part of the program over the years.

Interesting choice to name the kid Barry when he has that last name. Gonna be good for NIL if he can play some good football for us.
