Wonder if Ferentz knows that Minnesota and Nebraska (and most of the rest of the Big 10)are dominating Iowa in recruiting for 2018.
It will be interesting to see how this goes. He could turn Minnesota around or he could end up like Brewester. Too bad Kill had the health issues he seemed to be a pretty good guy and had them on a positive path.

Nebraska beats Iowa every year in recruiting, they just can't seem to beat us on the field.
Minnesota has 13 recruits all 3*. Iowa has 5 all 3*. Iowa stole 2 kids that were committed to Fleck last year.
If this is the case, isn't it a bit tone-deaf of him to say 'we intend to sign you' when there clearly isn't room?
Iowa never has recruited for rankings. Iowa recruits players they feel will fit the system and culture that is in place. We will take all the Dez Kings' and Bob Sanders that we can get.

You are comparing posters on a forum to a division one football coach? Whining is expected on a message board, don't know of many good coaches that feel the need to comment on others schools unless they are feeling threatened. Could be the case here
