Lexi is saying she wants to “play for a team that is a little less structured” and ”plays fast”. Not sure how that fits into her 3 point shooting.

More spot up opportunities and freedom to shoot early in the shot clock can have an effect. Not as much responsibility on defense.
I think it would help her if she focused more on being a 3-point sniper who looks for spot up opportunities as opposed to a slashing SF with the ability to shoot 3s.
Naz senior year is what she should be looking to recreate. He took and made a ton of threes, but also figured out how to finish at the hoop in traffic.
Agree about the shot clock effect, but she has dropped 10 points with her 3 since her freshman year, under the same structure.

I'd like to thank Donarski for choosing a school not in Iowa, not in the Big 12 (present or future), and not even in the Big 10.
They were 22-11, made the second round of the NCAA Tournament, beat us 73-64 in the Phil Knight (which was one of Lexi's worst games -- 6 points, 1 rebound, fouling out in 24 minutes).
Man was that game aggravating. Had no business losing that one, especially how much we dominated them the first half.
Don’t know if UNC ’plays fast’. They were 79th in pace at 73.4 and 125th in offensive rating at 94.3.Must of saw something she liked when we played them?
The Cyclones were 87th in pace (72..2) and 30th in offensive rating (103.7.)
Losing Kennedy Todd-Williams to the portal (transfer to OleMiss) opened an opportunity on the perimeter. She led UNC with 161 3-point shots taken (hitting at .323) and was second on the team in scoring at 13.4 ppg. At 6-0 and with length, she was also a defensive presence. I think Lexi brings a lot to that team and will be a good leader for them next year.
