Syracuse didn't look overjoyed about it lol
If I recall correctly, Syracuse plays a real fast tempo, pressing style. Don't know if it's a great match-up for us.
Then IF we win here comes UCONN.
Of course winner gets UConn.
It may be because winner gets UConn
Sorry for all the posts, CF is now glitchy AF.
Remember Geno griping back in the day over ISU having 4 on their floor to get to the final four. How many freaking times has UCONN had all four games to get to the final four in the state of CT? Too many.
Happy to be in.
I much preferred the 10 seed.
Syracuse's style shouldn't phase our guards.
Hate being in UCONNs bracket though, but we're in!
This might be a total pu$$ thing to say, but i kind of fear the thought of our ladies playing UCONN.
Like making the tournament and finding out you are actually an Aztec like sacrifice to UCONN. Woof.
I sure hope someone beats them. They've had close ones this year. They wouldn't be undefeated if they were in ACC, SEC, or Big 12. I sure hope Alex is ok at Baylor. Notre Dame is playing much better now than earlier.
UConn's Last 10 regions:
2017 - Bridgeport, CT
2016 - Bridgeport, CT
2015 - Albany, NY
2014 - Lincoln, NE
2013 - Bridgeport, CT
2012 - Kingston, RI
2011 - Philadelphia
2010 - Dayton, OH
2009 - Trenton, NJ
2008 - Greensboro, NC
Or in line to make the biggest upset in the history of WBB?
If ISU wins I can garauntee you Geno won't be thrilled with ISU as a second round match up. His team matches up better against traditional post style teams not smaller athletic ones.
Yeah, I am sure Geno fears us.
By the way, 3 of 4 Iowa teams made it...ISU at 9, Drake at 10, and UNI a team 10. Whar Iowa?
Way to Cyclone WBB! So consistent.
They don't play the # of games day in day out against strong comp and rack up easy wins before the occasional challenge. USF is their stiffest comp in conf.
How the heck is Drake a 10 playing at KState?
Ummm guys and gals... I think you mean "IF" UCONN beats Albany.
Stanford couldn't host, so KSU got to as the next-highest seed in that pod.
