Travis still has me blocked on Twitter/X, but Elon's rule changes mean I can see his tweets now. He hasn't tweeted anything.

Will be interesting if it is just Ross or if this is a purge of local programming like they tried to do a few years ago. They no longer have Murph and Andy's leverage to save them like they did last time this happened.
Local radio is meh to me. When I can, I listen to Dan Patrick then switch the station to Jim Rome then Rich Eisen. Collin Cowherd occasionally. Used to listen to Murph and Andy.

I listen to the Morning Rush every morning getting ready and going to work. This sucks. Of the local shows this had the best chemistry and I enjoyed it. I know they have their haters in this thread but I enjoyed the show. I now have zero reasons to listen to KXNO anymore.
Was there any show this morning or was it the national show?

I've loved Ross at times, I've loathed Ross at times. He's extremely talented, wears his heart on his sleeve, and has been a staple for DSM radio like him or not. He's been through a lot the last few years with divorce, spiritual discovery and now losing a job. We forget these guys are human sometimes. I've met him before and he was extremely warm and cheerful to be around.

He'll figure it out. I think he's a licensed realtor for Charter so maybe he just spends even more time on that. Wish him well.

I've learned finally after two decades in the working world that yes its important to work hard and go above/beyond at times, but to not let people walk all over me in fear I'll lose my job. In two weeks if I were to leave they'd just find someone else.
Yup, I've had this attitude for quite some time now. Been fortunate enough to not been laid off with the company I started with as my first job out of college for over 21 years. I've been through multiple re-orgs and had coworkers laid off where it could have easily been me that got let go instead. Never get the feeling that what you do can't easily be replaced as there are very few examples out there where that is the case especially in the corporate world. You're basically just a number in the employee database at that point.

While you have a job at one place, you owe it to your employer to put the effort in and do your work to the best of your abilities.

You also have to recognize when it’s time to find a better situation for yourself, if it’s better pay and/or a better growth opportunity.

Early in my working career I learned to loathe corporations. So I started my own business and haven’t looked back. As I see it, if I’m going to be miserable working, it’s going to be because of me, not some d*ck wads in middle or upper management. It’s made all the difference in my happiness and peace of mind.
