Kurt Backes Leaves the Cyclone Wrestling Club.
Former ISU All-American wrestler Kurt Backes has left the Cyclone Wrestling Club to join the staff at the University of Pennsylvania, where he will continue to training for international competition. During his time training with the Cyclone Wrestling Club Kurt won the 2007 Sunkist Invitational Tournament and helped the USA freestyle team to a fifth place finish in the 2008 Freestyle World Cup. Kurt also helped the CWC with a variety of projects. The CWC Board of Directors wants to say thanks to Kurt and wish you good luck in your future endeavors.
