Man this is going to get interesting around tournament time. It's been easy enough to just take "pauses" throughout the year, but they aren't putting the NCAA tournament on hold for anyone. Undoubtedly teams in the tournament, and even as the tournament progresses, will have issues and it will be interesting to see how that is handled.

Can we take their spot and RM with OU if they have to drop? :D

8 more teams and we might punch an auto berth in KC this weekend.

So as I think about it with the way contract tracing work, if you are, say, Baylor do you even risk coming to KC? What value is there is risking the NCAA tournament if you wind up playing against someone who is positive?

I've lost track of how all this works. But lets say TCU plays Baylor, Baylor wins and TCU gets back to campus and someone who played tests positive. Is Baylor then out?

I just wonder if you wont see some teams pull out of the conference tournament-- but I guess I don't even know if that's allowed?

If I had a top 10 team this year i'd be very hesitant on going to a conference tourney.

Just spitballing...if KU can't go, then does the ISU/OU winner get a quarterfinal bye and jump right to the semis? ;)

I'd think so. You can't just drop KU out and reshuffle the seeds at this point, can you? That would be a scouting nughtmare. Maybe they'll have OU and ISU play on Thursday instead?

They could only send the deep bench squad and keep the real team at home.
