The standings graphic showed KSU on top of us and no ranking with our logo like they had for KU and UT.

Tiebreakers are going to kill us. Texas and KSU with wins over KU means we would have to have a better conference record than either one.

If we beat KSU in Manhattan, we would have the tiebreaker over them. But we are screwed if we end up tied with UT though. Going to be very difficult to land a 2 seed in conference tournament, but a 3 seed is more realistic.

Probably have to win out if they want the two seed. But man oh man does Texas have a rough stretch of games. Next week they have to play at ISU and KU. They also have road games at OU and TTU, which won't be easy. They could lose all 4 of those. Should be interesting.

At the end of next week, there could be 5 teams with five Big XII losses. What a mess.

Edit: Actually, KSU plays OU next weekend. So, that won't be possible but still, that's quite the logjam.

first tie breaker is the combined round robin record against teams you tie with. If ISU ties for second with OU and Texas, and ISU beats Texas in Ames and OU beats Texas in Norman, OU would get second, ISU third, Texas forth.

I'd take a 3 seed if given the option today. Play West Virginia in basically a home game then play OU in the semis, vs. playing Kansas St. and Kansas. Think West Virginia will get 6th.

Happy to see this outcome. It's all bunched up in the middle of the pack, so obviously we need to take care of business, but some upsets from the bottom of the pack help now.
