You said you hope crowds at away games ridicule the crap out of the the Iowa team, you didn't say ridicule the crap out of the Iowa coaches.

That's pretty crazy to wish for that to happen to college kids.

If this review was meant to better the program and not just appease the media. Why do you think Gary Barta lied to them?

TP, (almost) every single one of us agreed that some of Akrum's story didn't line up completely. We said he should be listened to and his allegations were bad, but some of those allegations were combatted by evidence that proved them wrong, which led to his entire story being thrown out the window by most.

The report that came out today was not a win for Iowa. It showed there was racial bias, discrimination, and unfair treatment towards black players under Kirk Ferentz's culture. The report stated their were individuals more at fault than others (Doyle, Wallace, and BF). This report didn't discredit, disprove, or negate ANYTHING that has been stated over the past two months (outside of Kirk disputing Akrum's claims). All this did was put Iowa in the position to have to make a decision. A decision most of us knew the answer to. Which would be that no one is being held accountable.

This didn't go well contrary to their beliefs. It just proved what many of us have been talking about prior to this, which is that Iowa has an incompetent athletic department who will not take action against those who are supposed to be leaders. Barta is supposed to be a leader and he's a joke who doesn't hold anyone accountable. Kirk is supposed to be a leader and he allowed unchecked behaviors happen under his watch for years. Brian and Wallace are supposed to be leaders but their actions have been over the top inappropriate, discriminatory, and some would argue even racist.

Those guys are still a part of your program. And if you can look yourself in the mirror and be happy about that, boy, do you have some soul searching to do.

You believed the meal card BS Wadley was talking about.

He obviously did something bad enough to get his food privileges taken away...

Mark just mentioned "deflecting" questions.

Also just said 1 guy gets paid over a million dollars to go away and got a glowing recommendation today by his former boss.

Said Iowa isnt addressing problems of the past and are only talking about the future.

Ooooooof

Did PSU and Baylor have thorough, independent reviews done that had the same outcome as Iowa's?

This report says Iowa was a racist football program...... period. KF was running that racist program. One guy was pushed out and paid to shut his mouth about it. A couple other coaches, BF being one for sure, was found to be demeaning to black players.

This is what was all in the "review". So this is what KF and the Iowa football program will be known for from now on. That's the way this works.

85% of the time current players will state what the coach wants too hear all the time.

Maybe then they will see the true side of the Iowa Football Program and the two faced side of the staff. Best wishes to a program that has finally been exposed for what it is!

It has to be comforting for the players to know that the last time Ferentz got a report of racism in his program he tackled it head on by making minor changes and putting together a council that he then ignored. Oh the times they are a changin’

Page of the report that says this?

Why was Doyle let go and KF making all kinds of changes if there wasn't any racial issues? Hmmm?

Just because the "review" which Iowa paid millions for didn't recommend any coaching changes doesn't mean it didn't say it wasn't treating black players differently. It certainly did say that.
