Agree, The top recruits come to wrestling for a coach & staff not because of the tradition of the school.
I think Jackson's name will do some of the recruiting, probably more than the other candidates. I'm with the crowd that DOES NOT want a squawk unless it's Gable, and he's out. I despise their wrestling program because of our frustration against them for so many years. I like KJ's attitude toward that and I think he would bring that attitude to the wrestling room. I'd be happy with Heskett or Jackson, and I could handle a squawk as an assistant, but NOT as the head coach.
I heard that Jackson was not official, but I heard he was officially offered by Pollard today.
From the same source of mine who called Cael leaving a week earlier than it happened. He is oddly reliable, though you'd never know just by talking to him. He called Sunderland's resignation early, Johnson's resignation early, Cael to PSU at least a week early, Heffernan's hire a day early. He seems like an idiot but he has batted 1.000 so far.
