AMES, Iowa- Iowa State cross country runner Grace Kemmey was named the Big 12 Conference's Newcomer of the Year Tuesday. Kemmey earned the award by a vote of the league's coaches. The Kenya native is the first ISU women's cross country runner to earn the Big 12 newcomer award.
