OH, it's more than one guy. There are more of us than you think, that make the long haul to Ames (I come from Sioux City, a 2:45 drive). I have to attend the game, due to bringing the daughter home for Thanksgiving break (she's in the band). Looks like a 2am Sioux City arrival, after a colder than hell ballgame. Though a win would definitely quiet down my ******** and I do look forward to tailgating at a better time of day than 8am.
That student section is going to be bare.
Anytime you are 1 - 8 and you can get a primetime kickoff on a national channel you have to take it. Not sure how we got it the B12 slate that day must be slow or, ABC and Fox are picking up games.
Baylor-Oklahoma State is the national ABC game at 7:00pm. Fox Sports 1 had Oklahoma-Kansas State and KU-ISU to choose from, and 11:00am and 7:00pm to put them.
My guess is that FS1 thought that they would be get more viewers as "the" Big 12 game at 11:00am rather than try to compete in the night slot.

So, one more crappy kick off time for the schedule-from-hell season. 4 games after 5PM or later, 2 at the dreaded 11AM. These start times suck for us fans that have to drive at least 2 hours for the games. I actually miss the days when no one cared about us, and we kicked off at 1PM...

Nah, everyones nuts should be numb by now. One more kick to the beans shouldn't change anything.I wonder if this is the game where the 50,000+ attendance streak ends
