He depends a lot more on his strength offensively then quickness, so even if not at 100 percent can still be effective.

Lets all make wild speculations!!!! Whether or not Kane plays the boys have to be ready. Jumping the gun with bad info is sad and helps no one.

A sprain implies that a ligament has been torn. You can roll your ankle and not sprain it.

Yep. I sprained my ankle(doctor diagnosised) and it was sore for a week maybe 10 days. I've rolled an ankle several times. 1-3 days and I'm fine.

I've sprained my ankle a dozen times and I'm no athlete. Depends on the grade of sprain. If it's mild, which he would still be on crutches for, rest it next 48 hours, wrap the crap out of it, shot of cortisone and may be good to go. After ku we have a 5 day break then after that a 6 day break so at worst he misses ku and plays 20 min or so for tx then back to full strength.

Also, this loss won't hurt Iowa st seeding wise IMO. OU on road a top 20 rpi team. Not a bad loss at all. A lot of season left folks so maybe fred sits Kane and gives him 5-6 days rest to fully heal the ankle. Would prob be smart.

Looks like the universe caught up with us again. Without Kane we will lose the next two.
