Can’t remember which thread he was talked about potentially joining CRTC. He is headed to New York RTC & Cornel for senior level wrestling

Was he an official target of the CRTC? I know Dresser has talked about adding guys, but have not heard any names officially
Oh, I’m not sure. I’m not plugged in like some of you guys on this forum. I guess the better question would be, are we actively looking to add high level guys to the CRTC? Would Earl and Durbin go train elsewhere?

From the rumbles (my sources are iffy as I get older ) there was some communication being done with JO but it wasn't anything hard core (whatever that means).

Jordan Oliver Joining New York RTC

Jordan Oliver officially announced today his intentions to join the New York Regional Training Center, based out of Ithaca at Cornell.

Oliver had previously been training in Tempe at Arizona State. Though he is leaving ASU, Oliver confirmed that Sunkist Kids will remain his primary club, as it has been since he graduated college.

The two-time NCAA champ for Oklahoma State will be back on the east coast, closer to his home in Easton, PA. The coach of the NYRTC, Cory Cooperman, is also a native of the Lehigh Valley.

This move would seem to indicate that Oliver is going to continue wrestling through the next Olympics in 2020 in Tokyo. Oliver is currently unable to wrestle until April 30th of this year due to a one year suspension from USADA.

A two-time World Team Trials finalist, Oliver has made three national teams and made two U.S. Open finals. He also was a junior world bronze medalist back in 2009.

We are definitely trying to add senior level wrestlers and keep the ones we have

I know this is a new push by Dresser to add senior level wrestlers.

JO is an excellent wrestling talent and would have been great to have in the room.. But our market is too small for his liking I think. Also, he has the Pat Downey syndrome where he talks a lot and wrestles very little.. Plenty of talented wrestlers I hope we are targeting to bring in. We need to bring in someone on the international latter that is wrestling 57kg, 61kg, or 65kg right now.

Meh. I’d rather not have someone suspended for doping wrestling for CRTC.
Oh geez. It was for a prescribed adderall medication..rules state that it can't be in your system within 4 days of competition. He made a mistake. I personally don't think he should get crucified for it. Either way, he is heading to NYC which is probably a better fit anyways.
