Jeez kick a guy while he is down. He is probably out trying to figure out how to cancel that charter plane to the insight bowl and all those hotel rooms.

I thought this was odd myself. I'm sure he has good reason but it looks bush league. I was looking forward to listening to Jon today. :(

I tuned in for the first time in months to listen to him backpedal. I can't believe he is taking the day off.

I tried calling the 800 number for the charter Saturday night, but my wife wouldn't let me.

I really think we should send a care package to the studio for him. Maybe some flowers and a sympathy card?

I wonder if Andy Fales will get a gig on KXNO now that he is back in town? I'm sure he has a no-compete clause in his contract from WHO and KCCI already confirmed he's not replacing Heidi so I'm guessing either WHO finds a way to get him back or he has to wait until his no-compete clause runs out to sign with another central Iowa TV station. That's the only thing I can think of at the moment as Andy has mentioned in the past he wanted to try some radio out.

I'd say he's in Indianapolis petitioning the NCAA that Iowa must be allowed into a bowl game of some sort as they're the class of the NCAA, way better than LSU (beat them in the '0_ Capital One Bowl), Kansas (not even in the same league), etc. Not only that, but their season should be reviewed, and upon further review all outcomes must be reversed because Iowa actually finished 12-0 and the six teams that beat them this year shouldn't have been allowed to beat them, regardless of whether it was their Super Bowl...

...oooh - getting dizzy

He is at his therapist talking about how the Hawkeyes always let him down.

I would seriously send the "care package" if people wanted to donate. How about some black flowers, a box of tissue, a sympathy card and some kool-aid.

How about some pilfered Blue Colar Comedy DVDs, a carton of GPC Menthols, and a bottle of Hawkeye Vodka?

Little off topic here, but did Andy really return to Des Moines? Having recently moved from Des Moines to KC I enjoyed catching him on TV down here from time to time. What brought him back to central Iowa?
