Was going through youtube recommendations and got one from Dan Patrick talking about sportswriter John Feinstein who passed a few days ago. Had not seen this news. Never read one of his books but whenever he was a guest on a sports radio show I always tuned in.

Back when I was still commuting he was on a sports show I'd listen to on my drive. This is going back a fews years but I pretty much stopped listening when they let him go. He was a great listen and great sports guy but all the radio wants is bombastic loud mouths so he had to go.

I hadn't heard this, thanks for posting. I didn't realize how many books he had written, it is a lot (according to Wikipedia, 44). I've read six of them and I didn't even realize they were all his.
