I have asked this before also. I am not sure what is going on, but as long as we ask, and it doesn't get buried in the posts, Jeremy will have a answer... I hope :wink0st:

I believe at one point Jeremy said he wanted the site to go in more of a discussion direction rather than have a central focus around recruiting news, probably to please those who feel that the already established recruiting networks should have all the fun.

Whenever Jeremy posts anything regarding recruiting the site is flooded with people talking about anything but the potential recruits. I can't blame him if he wants to get rid of that part of the site.

Sorry guys for not responding earlier. I have a bad habit of forgetting to reply to posts after I get sidetracked. Darn site gets too busy to keep up:)

I am going through the thought process of deciding what types of recruiting info should be on the site, how often, etc. The biggest part of recruiting coverage is timing and the data becomes out of date very quickly. I had a problem before where I wasn't updating the MBB Recruiting Page so it was usually not showing the most up-to-date intel even though I may have posted it elsewhere on the site.

So the problem isn't that I don't want to provide the info in some sort of static form, it's just deciding how to do it effectively while also not requiring too much time to maintain. I'm trying to figure through some things but my to-do list and list of ideas always gets shuffled around for one reason or another and I get off on other things before finishing what I started. This is my biggest downfall.

Ironically enough, my supposedly top priority (for a long time now) has been to create a globally viewable task list where everybody can post ideas and I can post updates and priorities as I work through them. I will work on this and try and make it so everybody has a better source of info on projects such as this.

Sorry again for the delayed response!

thanks for the link

I was thinking about the part of the sire that used to have a list of signed recruits and potential recruits plus there feelings on ISU (strong/medium/low/no interest).

If he was planning on getting rid of that part of the site, I understand.

But maybe he could put back the part with who we have already signed (verbal/offical LOI). I always found that to be a good quick reference of who we had coming in the next few years.

I liked having a recruiting page because this is the only site I check (see also, broke @#$% student)....and it really is nice to get ur daily fill of cyclone lore, logic, and rumor from the same water cooler.
