He has put more OL in the pros in the last 3 years than ISU has in the last decade. He must be doing something right. Makes me wonder why no one else has grabbed him.

That'd be a pretty cool, its one of those things that make sense on paper, but there's more to building a staff than, "hey, he did good at previous job." see Rhoads' staff experiments...

There is absolutely nobody currently on staff that would be qualified to take on the OL job. Could it be someone Matt has worked with before, sure. But he’s not going to pin his hopes on someone totally unproven in this spot again. This is a critical hire.
