After his NFL career, I would have no problem having him on the sidelines. Him or Sage. Both standout Cyclones!

Great article about Jake and what it takes to try to make an NFL team.

Knott is just hard to gauge football-wise. He's not super fast or athletic, although he has plenty of talent. Just seemed so smart on the field that he was always in the right place at the right time. That probably doesn't show up in drills or practice, it shows up on gameday. Obviously, those first few exhibition games will be very important for him. I hope he does well.

Would love to have Jake back at ISU after a good career in the pros or not. Intensity and hard work can always rub off on the new players.

Look forward to Jake and AJ being back at Jack Trice. That will be one thunderous ovation.
