If its any consolation this is probably the last gasp of winter. Models show much more seasonable weather past this weekend.

It's an odd sunrise. The east horizon is bright but quickly getting covered by the front moving in which makes for kind of a pinkish gray color in the sky. There's lightning to the immediate south and a couple big rolls of thunder. School is cancelled which now brings us back the day after Memorial Day.

We've been way over an inch an hour here in Kossuth county, and it's still coming down. Plows have been pulled as of 9 AM, which is awesome....
