On the college volleyball forum Nebraska fans said it was a very competitive match and that the refs had bad calls against us at the end of those close sets. I wonder if we'll run a 6-2 with the next spring matches.

the article said we had more assists, digs, and kills than Nebby. I haven't looked at the full stats but I'm wondering if we had a lot of errors. Bigz and Malloy both had really solid days it sounded like.

Yea we had 10 more errors, but we also had 10 more kills than them. Hurtt didn't do good and I'm sure that's why Kuhrt came in for her for 1 set. I thought we might see Malloy and Bigz on the right and Kuhrt and Hurtt on the OH, and have Hudson and Malloy set.

Spring volleyball is a bit different, as we lack our freshman. But both teams are the same. I am impressed by the close 2 and 3 sets, but concerned about 7 aces against us. There is no doubt that coach will be analyzing the outcome, vis a vis positions, but like last year, she is not taking on creampuffs so that part I really like. Go 'clones.

Final match of the round robin - Creighton Volleyball stuns Nebraska in five sets at the Coliseum, winning 25-17, 22-25, 27-25, 20-25, 15-13. The contest was the final scheduled contest at the venerable NU Coliseum, long-time home to the storied Husker volleyball program. Good VB in this part of the country.
