yikes. Wonder what happened?
Sounds like they have confirmed it was a golfer or is that just a guess (because of the abandoned cart)?
My first thought was tailgating accident but wonder if they know that's her cart.
They ought to be able to do a quick inventory in their log in book to see if there was a golfer (or two) ahead of that foursome.
Staff found the body. They likely recognized from when the golfer paid earlier.
This is a good point.
Odd. I'll be interested to see what they find out. I play there a fair amount.
Found in the lake, wow.
In the pond? Hmm. that sounds very strange.
If I had to guess, looking for a ball, fell and hit their head.
Only if extremely old
Eh, not necessarily. However, I can't recall the landscaping around the pond on 9. There's plenty of courses with rocks lining ponds where I can see that happening regardless of age. Some of those rocks get pretty slick when wet.
It is pretty hot to be walking that course. Long with not much shade. Could be heat related.
While I agree with this, it's the "in the pond" part that makes me wonder.
Evidently they are considering it to be "suspicious" as the body was not very close to where the bag was found.
Through a source that knows people who work there I've heard there were stab wounds on the body. Totally unconfirmed though.
Man this is crazy.
Murdered in broad daylight on a busy golf course? That’s a little difficult to believe.
There used to be homeless encampments behind there next to Squaw Creek.
I doubt it was that busy though but yeah, seems a bit premature to jump right to murder.
