ISU Clings to 25 in the new AVCA rankings (9/16)

When was the last time we fell out of the rankings? It's been a few years.
St. Mary's wouldve been a little higher had they won Saturday night.
We are with out a doubt a top 25 team...just not playing like it right now. Still have yet to click which is understandable breaking in a new setter among other new faces.
Hopefully we can get back on track with a beatdown in Iowa $hitty this weekend!

I agree - Texas A&M or K-State certainly could have that last spot, but the ISU name in women's VB is still a big one. Doesn't really matter, as there's a tourney...

Been ranked ever since: December 2008.
Last years team was 7-4 in non conference play, if this years team wins over Iowa and South Dakota they will have the same non conference record. I don't think that is too shabby considering our losses have all been to teams either rated or receiving votes.
We did beat #1 Nebraska at this same time last year; although we spent most of the year ranked in the 20's, until our final ranking of #14.
