Yeah, lose on the second ranked team's home court scoring the most points that top team allowed all season and then go and house another conference team on their court - then drop in the polls. Keep winning, sisters, and prove them wrong.

Need to take care of business this week and get a couple of wins. Weak TT team at Hilton and at KSU against a team we smoked badly in Hilton. KSU is 10-1 at home and beat Teas there by 20, however only scored 30 points  at WVU this weekend and lost by 30. If we play good defense we could smoke the again. Who knows what KSU squad will show up this weekend.

Only 3 Big 12 schools projected in and he has #12 ranked Texas as a SEVEN seed? Am I missing something here?

Crappy noncons killing big 12 this year, both in WL column and weak scheduling. Texas best win is ISU, then TCU.

I watch a lot of Big 12 games and it makes me scratch my head why other teams always seem so amped to play ISU. Texas played us so hard but has also laid some big eggs this year.

Just wait till the seasons over. TX may be much lower than that. WV just took care of them. ISU should too the next time. BU plays there Monday night. They have won so many games this year by the hair of their chinny chin chin and many of them was simply the other team just folding up like a blanket in the last 4 minutes.

Texas is way over ranked and the league as a whole is weak sauce this year. Still, if we finish 2nd or 3rd we will get a really decent seed and host.

Latest bracketology has us as a 4 seed and getting to host in first 2 rounds.

Wonder if they would really have both Iowa and Iowa State hosting and in the same region.

As long as they are opposite sides of said bracket I don't see why it couldn't happen. That being said I agree that chances are probably unlikely.

Its a shame that TX plays the way they do with the talent they have. Why did they show up so strong in Ames? I've said it for a long time, Karen Aston can recruit like bonkers, but she isn't the best game coach. I watched that TX/WVU game last night. The 4th quarter was, here you win the game, no you win the game, here have a turnover, no you have a turnover, missed FT after missed FT, foul after foul, WV was down to only 5 eligible players and still won.

and 25 in coaches poll....problem is for us, a "big" noticeable win is either Baylor or Texas, and that is about it.

Yeah, just like the men with the losses to Baylor and KSU, the ladies needed to get those wins against Texas and WV...still the opportunity for them to return the favor both at Texas and home against WV.

Just take care of business and maybe tuck a win against Texas or Baylor.

Truth. Hard to get signature wins at this point with seven of the teams in the league not even getting votes for the Top 25, let alone ranked.
