Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

Not what I observed. Like I said...every team has scoring draughts....your D helps you get through those. The Hawks D was horrible....couldn't get any stops.

Don't expect you guys to buy that but that's what I saw....
I will say, although I think Iowa has players that are better offensively than what they produced last year, Iowa had a handful of games in the conference season where it seemed like they didn't score more than 10 points in 10 minutes of game time. That's worse that droughts or being streaky, and at times I don't think multiple stops would've helped much, there was just a lid for some reason.

I would be very surprised if they were that poor for long stretches again this season. The defense though, they are going to have to prove they can work to stop teams consistently for me to believe it will be much better.

Yeesh, Anyone that thinks Fran could get fired if he has bad year and Barta would pay the buy out it isn't happening. The free student pizza may need to be canceled this year.

Yikes. Like I've said multiple times, Iowa can't afford to fire Fran after this year no matter what happens

That and their fanbase built up that Patrick would be a savior to their program. They probably believe Fran should not be fired because they'd lose Patrick and Conner.

Connor wasn't a good recruit and Patrick will probably end up being ranked right around where SDW was at

The hypocrisy of Iowa State fans when it comes to Iowa basketball is hilarious. Essentially everything you make fun of Iowa’s basketball program for applies to your football program, too. The lack of self-awareness is startling.

Iowa's conference schedule includes 4 games against preseason top 25 opponents. We have 8. Lol the Big Ten is garbage across the board
