That's funny. KU basketball fans were my best fan experience.
Also, it changes nothing...
We had a full beer thrown at us walking to the stadium and were refused a parking spot at a place because “We don’t allow Boo Bird B%#ches.” I guess ISU fans are Boo Birds?

Memorial Stadium is an absolute dump and I hope the renovation makes it nicer than the JV field it currently is.

Already a TON more tickets on secondary markets this morning. Price is dropping quickly.
FWIW, on the last W&B pod, Blum said that the Cheifs were still trying to work out how to sell tix that aren't allocated to KU. They might sell thru KU or might go direct (is how I understood it). But those might not come out til September - which jibes with what Clones123 said above.

I'm going to hold out a while yet.

Anybody know anything more about KU football tickets available for the public? Supposedly they were on sale on the Chiefs website as of Sep. 6, but when I look this is all I get. Same is true of their other three games at Arrowhead.

I see a lot of tickets available on Ticketmaster, using the link you sent.
Looks like the better sections are locked for season ticket holders, and require a passcode.

There's no way I can go to this, but I'm really curious how the tickets are made available to know what chance we have of getting 50% or more takeover.

Kansas averaged 42K in an "up" year last year and arrowhead is 76K and change right?

I went to the "Seneca" FSU game in KC and it was so awesome despite getting robbed.

If any of you REALLY want to buy, there are some better options after tonight.

Current market looks like this for lowers.

End Zone Corners on the Iowa State half (105 to 109) are $165 each
104 is $205 each
135 & 136 are $225 each

I know some people want to buy now, I'm still a long-game strategy guy so just passing the info along....

Yep, UNLV were pricks about selling tickets, we got on the list to purchase a group of tickets had to get 20. They said we would be in the 2nd deck, and that was all they were selling. Get a call and they have 20 tickets in the corner of the end zone that we can have. I called out there at least 10 times before I got our tickets. Total pain in the ass.

Thinking tickets may get pretty cheap.
KU has road games at West Virginia, ASU, and K State before our game at Arrowhead. They could easily be 3-5 going in which should put some tickets on the secondary market. Only problem is that if the Clones play to potential our fans will compete for tix and bid them up like we do for the basketball tourney every year.

And goddamn are the stubhub, seatgeek, etc fees outrageous. I paid $172 for a really good seat at Kinnick and they charged $65 fee. Was similar on every site. Criminal.

Based on the early season trajectory of both teams, by the time the game actually kicks off, ISU fans will outnumber the fair weather KU fans.
