Who do you guys think will win? Iowa Hawkeyes or Iowa State Cyclones?
Can be discussed Sat night. Now focus is on Tulsa.
Isn't there a game tomorrow? It really has no outcome of the game if fans overlook an opponent but its still a little weird to talk about a game that's over a week away when you've got a game scheduled tomorrow.
I'm not even gonna guess who will win that game until I see how the Hawkeyes fare against NIU, and how bad we beat Tulsa. I'll give you my answer tomorrow at 6pm.
Little too early, let's kick Tulsa's *** then we'll move on to EIU
I will respond on Saturday night after we win. I have to see how both teams play, can't base off of Des Moines Register preseason articles.
Wow, didn't take long to kill this one. I have never understood the "take it one game at a time" mantra when it comes to fans. That said, good argument that we haven't seen either team play, so its hard to make a real determination.
Going on gut feeling, I think Iowa will probably win, we don't play well at Kinnick.
Yes, but any prediction doesn't hold much weight right now so why bother? So much can happen tomorrow. Injuries included.
We roll next week. End of story.
I don't think we roll. But should win by a TD or so
yep, our defense is just suspect enough to give up some points but NO WAY Iowa will be able to outscore us. 38 points is just a taste. We will put a few more than 17 North Ill. Scored.
Iowa State has some major holes too. We need to come out with an attitude and like we're the better team.
Hope the team doesn't think like this. It'll be a hard fought game.
Why would the team think like this? I've never understood that. We are playing Iowa next week, not Southeast Tennessee State Community College.
What fans think will happen has no bearing on the actual outcome of the game, if you didn't know.
If you read my post I didn't mention anything about fans.
Tough game honestly, I know they looked like hot garbage, but they'll be back home where VDB is a different player and they'll actually have some film to go along with their new systems.
They showed absolutely zero vertical passing game though. We really need to jam the WR's at the line and play to stop their running game, which is the only thing they had going.
10 pt ISU win
A review of history would show that week 1 performance by both teams is probably the worst indicator of whats going to happen in week 2. Slow your roll a little.
