Iowa State has waved the white flag, we've conceded.

He played 27 minutes in the exhibition, 26 minutes against Missouri and 31 minutes against Milwaukee. Was the dog house not playing him as a mismatch? That seems to have lasted more than just the start of the season.

Wasn't he in trouble to start the year?? Thought I remembered both him and Lard getting in trouble.

I thought I would add this. Something I noticed.

Returning starts (as a Cyclone) for 2015-2016 = 209
+plus Nader and Burton with extensive starts/playing time from their prior schools

Returning starts (as a Cyclone) for 2016-2017 = 183
+plus a very good JUCO in Jackson and adequate bench minutes from Bowie

Returning starts (as a Cyclone) for 2017-2018 = 8

Returning starts (as a Cyclone) for 2018-2019 = roughly 125

Wigginton (30), Talley (10), NWB (25), Young (40), Lard (20)
+plus 23 by Shayok at UVA and 56 by Jacobson at Nebraska, grand total about 200

I think there is an obvious difference coming.

That's encouraging.

Lewis was in the dog house with Lard.
Could have sworn Talley got in trouble as well and got sat out of something... maybe the scrimmage. Either way, he just wansn't very good early. I just think this team as a whole is missing a ton. I wouldn't be surprised to see Talley's minutes drastically reduced next year.

Solomon has been playing through a meniscus tear in his left knee. He's going to have surgery today according to him.

Man, this team is beat up this year. On a positive note, Lewis and Long should get more time so we can see what they can do with extended minutes.

That’s not exactly true. He was one of our better players the first two games.
Either way, in regards to whether he was being utilized correctly, it does nothing but support the contention that he should have been the four. Was Beverly very good? You really struggled on this one.

No he wasn't. But there is a reason Prohm put him there. I have no idea what happens behind the scenes but I give the benefit of the doubt to coaches who actually know what is going on. Maybe other guys weren't doing the things Prohm wanted them to do.

He played a lot of minutes for the first two, played less in South Carolina and then was out for 7 games (and sputtered a bit in the first couple of games after he came back) which undoubtedly set him back.

Is the game really on CyTV tomorrow night?

I assume it's a one game service if so?
