I agree, but I'm even more shocked that he would commit after watching that performance on Saturday.
Wait..............24??? I was thinking 23. That is a long time. Either he drops to a 3 or he is using this to get a bump and recognition.
3 star on Rivals, 3 star composite on 247 and not ranked by On3 or ESPN. Only place he shows up as a 4 star is on 247s rankings as the lowest ranked 4 star QB.
Kid may be a player but boy are you guys hanging on to one service putting him as a 3 star.
Very similar to Rocco’s offers and he’s committed a full year before he did. Looks really fast but his mechanics need work.
Truthfully, I don’t love an QB that commits after watching that **** show in person.
I honestly wouldn't trust any out of state commits at this point. I feel like you have a 50/50 shot at having a new HC next year.
All jokes aside, don't you think that it is a real possibility that he has a bad year and just retires? I'd almost be hoping for it if I were you guys. Not that the team loses, but that he calls it a career and they get some new blood in there.
I don't think so. 1) He wants the money. 2) He wants the hall of fame, that requires 60% winning percentage and he is at 59% so he needs a couple good years to get there. 3) He wants Brian to take over and with as awful has he has been its not likely now. 4) While he can always find Brian an assistant job somewhere, he has a SIL that runs his mouth a lot (Deyo incident) when he shouldn't and will not land on his feet when this is over.
So Kirk has several things pulling at him to keep the gravy train going.
